Please help, problem with Wallet upgrade (from Bitcoin version v0.8.1-beta. Copyright © 2009-2013 The Bitcoin developer)

Hello,

appologize for duplicated topic. I suppose first one was in bad section. Is there a way how to upgrade my wallet to recent version? Direct upgrade does not work as new wallet does not see my old wallet data. Backup/restore does not work, because old version does not use password to protect backup. Restore in last version does not work without password .

If i install last version of wallet from this site, it give me a two options: 1. import data, 2. skip import.
If i skip import there is 0 btc balance, so i suppose it can't see my current wallet data. Actually there are different path to data in new wallet version. Old one uses path "AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin" and new one uses "AppData\Local\bitcoin.com".
If I choose import, there are another two options. 1. Import through recovery phraze, 2 import from file.
I have no phraze to recovery as old wallet does not use anything like that.
Import from file also does not work as there must be given password. Old version of wallet backuping data without using any password.

Bitcoin.com is a HD wallet, you can create a bitcoin.com wallet and send your bitcoins from bitcoin core wallet to your Bitcoin.com wallet receiving address...

Bitcoin core and bitcoin.com wallet are two separate wallets that are incompatible with each other, the cost of the tx fee depends of the transaction size, You can get more info about the transactions fees here http://bitcoinfees.21.co/ HD is short for Hierarchical Deterministic. Typically, bitcoin wallets generate each new bitcoin address from a unique random number, requiring you to make a new separate backup each time you create a new address. To avoid losses from lack of backups, such wallets tend to use a single bitcoin address for all transactions. HD wallets instead use a «master seed» (a number based on the 12 random words in bitcoin.com case), to derive all future bitcoin addresses sequentially, with each new address created by appending a counter to the end of the seed. In this way, all the bitcoin addresses created by such wallets are «hierarchically determined» from a single seed, only need to be backed up once, and can be fully restored at any time in the future just from the backup of that single master seed.
