Circle now has a bitcoin sending limit (of $3000). They cite some US travel rule.

Rather disturbing -- and obviously it should not be used as a wallet.

I still find it useful as a way to sell bitcoin. . .I wonder if Coinbase will follow suit.

There's a decent proportion of the population that want to move big amounts of money around often -- but I guess Circle is not trying to cater to those people.

Coinbase has already done similar for unverified accounts, does this rule at Circle effect verified accounts? Sorry I don't have a Circle account so I'm not sure how they do verification

Yes it's 300$ for unverified accounts I believe.
