What is the minimum amount to start as a trader?

For me, I started trading with $25 (about 0.1 BTC) initially as I was not quite knowledgeable about bitcoins and the price used to fluctuate a lot. It was 2014 when I started trading and I sold my bitcoins when the price reached $290 later and hence my profit was about $4. It was a good experience and then I started investing more than $50 each time and now since the price is high, I am waiting for it to reduce so that I can invest about $100 in bitcoin trading.

As much as you can afford to lose pretty much. One of the coolest things about Bitcoin that people don't bring up a lot is how divisible it is. The minimum deposits for many exchanges are very tiny and you can start trading with only Satoshis.

As CryptAxe said you can really start trading with any amount you want . Just remember that the smaller investment you make the more you will see it get eaten up by fees.,

Not all trading websites have high fees so I feel $25 is a good amount to start with.

As others have said, any amount is good as long as it's what you can afford. It's actually one of the great things about bitcoin, any person at any age for any amount can begin trading. For traditional fiat markets there are so many restrictions it's hard to even get a foot in. When I bought my first bitcoin I only bought $20 just to test the waters, as I had no idea what to expect. Down the rabbit hole I went!
