Yay! :D
On this subject... I'm cloud mining on pool.bitcoin.com. I've switched over to BCC mining...
But my payout address is a BTC address... Should I change that to a BCC one?

[I wonder if pool.bitcoin.com should allow miners to enter two addresses (one BTC, and another BCC), since it is so easiy to switch our mining workers back-and-forth from BTC to BCC mining.]

Thanks for any input/help!

I think that's only necessary if you have automatic withdrawals going. Otherwise the "payout address" is just a clipboard. You can insert any other address when you actually manually withdraw coins.

I'm certain this is part of their plans.

"Bitcoin.com mines its first Bitcoin Cash block!"
So what.

Don't you guys know how Bitcoin works? what makes it secure and trustable? What gives it value?
I know Core are the enemy within, on the path self profit through limitation and restriction.
But creating an altcoin on a non competing chain is BS.

Take Bitcoins Blockchain from Core or stand defeated.

(i'm not surprised big blocks cant get traction when the logo changes every week, classic, unlimited, now the alt known as bitcoin cash ffs)

Take Bitcoins Blockchain from Core or stand defeated.
You've probably noticed that Blockstream and Core have been waging a full-blown propaganda war on big-blockers and anyone questioning SegWit and other off-chain technologies. The miners don't care about Core, they only care that mining Bitcoin is profitable, so you can't depend on them to staunchly defend against Core proposals that will damage the network. They'll just switch their miners to another alt-coin that is profitable; sure it'll be painful for them, but they're still essentially crypto-agnostic.

How do you "take" the blockchain from Core in this scenario? They've got everything locked up and the swayed masses to back their message. Do you know how many bootlicking accounts on Twitter have "UASF" in their names?

AFAIC, Bitcoin died the day the NYA was agreed to. Upping the blocksize is literally a TINY change to the client and they would not give an inch on it unless SegWit was added. They would rather see Bitcoin die than abandon their ideals. It's fanaticism, or veiled corruption. They simply can't be stopped from crippling Bitcoin. How in the world do you fight against that? Why in the world would you fight against that when you didn't have to?

Instead, we had the opportunity to rescue a copy of Bitcoin before they killed it and grow it in the way it was intended.

It looks pretty lop-sided right now, and I'm sure that's part of the reason why you're a bit angry. Why should anyone give upstart Bitcoin Cash any respect? But if Bitcoin Cash is indeed the technically better and more profitable coin, the miners will switch from SegWitCoin to BCH.

Bitcoin Cash is Bitcoin as Satoshi intended. Don't give up on it just because we couldn't wrest control of SegWitCoin from Core.

Thanks for your considered post GreyWyvern. in reply..

The majority of miners should do due diligence in their own business. Not just follow the complete bullshit that is segwit.
Increase fees and delays forever and drive away adoption. The majority of miners weren't supposed to be retards.
Even our very own Ver signalled for segwit? (well the office boy did so roger "had to" honour it)

How do you take the blockchain from Core?
You stop pissing around with a different big block implementation every few months. You stop pandering to the (many)farmed accounts, shill accounts and dickheads, and stand up. I have tried to change things here, but FA understanding, rog prefers the bitcointalk proven scammyness way of running things round here. Employing OGnasty to be his front man, giving his bitcoin's to shill's idiots, and again OGnasty.
You don't just let the office boy "give it all away"

Yeah, Bitcoin took a massive hit that day. Why did Ver help sign away Bitcoin that day, by proxy of the office boy?

I support big blocks. But wont cash just turn gregcoin into Ver coin or tomzcoin? Whistles and bells attached?
A pure Blocksize increase is all we need, as CW said unfortunately, : )

Even some of the longest-time bitcoin critics agree: https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/6 ... i/dl3tg3k/
and anyone that actually understands it.
Full respect for jstolfi.
He may agree that cash is more satoshiesque than the godfearingbeardybastardcoin, (as i would) but the implementation of it was not. Nothing like.
