Hi Admin,

I have just made a purchase of hash rates at your site... Despite the transaction being confirmed, the contracts are yet to reflect on my account.
P.s it isnt my first purchase. Please kindly assist.

Hi everyone,

Noob question. Which is currently the 'best' to mine you think? I really don't know if I should put my hashrate (+ - 13 TH/S) to bcc or stay at btc..

Thanks!
I'd also like to know this.

hi, im pointed to the bcc pool as well, and mining but i cant see a worker in the worker list. I do have a wallet address at the account. So why cant i see the worker on the list?

Also this is my worker line and im mining, so im guessing its correct? obviously worker name is different

ccminer-x64 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.bcc.pool.bitcoin.com:3333 -u worker.01 -p d=6 --cpu-priority=3

It's a political question at the moment...

I switched mine all to BCC but the first block hasn't been mined yet. The first day will likely be a financial loss but I'll leave them to try to support the security and long term success of BCC.

If you want max money, stay with BTC for now and keep an eye on BCC today to see how the rate of block mining and difficulty is changing. Difficulty will drop 20% at the first block because it took longer than 2 hours and BitcoinABC has an emergency difficulty reduction algorithm added in case of this happening.

BCC is kind of stuck at block 478558, you can watch for the next block here: https://www.btcforkmonitor.info

Update: a block has been mined, but I'm not clear on the difficulty adjustment. It looks like it doesn't happen for 6 blocks, so we've got 5 blocks to go at this difficulty. It may be a slow start, that first block took 5 hours.

Another update: A second and third got mined in a matter of minutes!

One last update: The algorithm for 20% difficulty reduction requires 6 blocks to take >12 hours. At the moment, 12 blocks have been mined in ~15 hours so we are not going to get an emergency reduction in difficulty at this rate. As strange as this is, it seems NOT mining BCC might benefit BCC by increasing the chance of getting that difficulty reduction. Correct me if I'm wrong, it is a bit counter intuitive feeling.
How I can change to mine BCC. I dont find I have used over 30 minutes around pages and there is nothing where can switch?

I of course mine the chain that has the most potential, not the chain that promises short term payout and "feels" safest. The long term usability and potential with BCC is far superior than that Blockstream Second Layer Settlement Coin. Teething issues are an irrelevant obstacle to overcome.

Hi folks,

Just wanted to provide an update letting you know that we have had to reduce the block reward back down to 100% since transaction fee rewards significantly reduced after the BCC hard fork. We assess the possibility of increasing the block reward to a higher level on a constant basis so if transaction fees increase for a prolonged period we will certainly consider raising the block reward payout again at that time.

Cheers!

Well, seems to me you're way behind the competition now. You can't say you're the best paying pool. I have a contract on viabtc and I get 0.00024222 per TH/s per day all fees deducted. With you, when you were paying the 10% reward, I received 0.00022105, now that there's no reward I get 0.00018596 fees already deducted, in both cases it was less than what I'm getting on viabtc without bonus. Seems to me you have to do something to adjust and catch up with the competition. Price for 1 TH/s/lifetime on viabtc is USD$159 just USD$10 more than your price. No wonder why your contracts are selling so slow now.

Oh! I almost forgot. ViaBTC automatically credited my wallet with BCC on an equal amount to what I had in BTC during fork day, and they also credit me every day with NMC, not worth much, but it's kind of a byproduct and it adds to the total profit.

I'm beginning to feel disappointed on you.

You're welcome to mine on ViaBTC. They are ideological allies with us. We are both fighting for on-chain scaling and we wish them success.

We didn't have much notice for preparing for this hard fork. I hope to provide a better service, I'll try my best to improve. Thank you for the feedback.

Is there an option to allow pool.bitcoin.com to redirect my hash rate to the most profitable chain between BCC and BTC?

I have 0.14BTC awarded since I started a 20TH/s contract earlier in July. Do these get a 0.14BCC dividend as well?

Any ETA on getting the correct stats for My Revenue and Account/ Estimated 24hr revenue & BCC Pending PPS Payment?
Are we waiting for one or more blocks on BCC to be mined by bitcoin.com before these calcs can be somewhat accurate?

Also, should we hold off on the majority of our hashrate until we get the difficulty to drop to a comfortable level?

ETA is a a few days before we start BCC payments. We need to thoroughly test and make sure everything is working before releasing.

Yes, I would recommend mining BTC instead of BCC for now, so that the BCC difficulty will drop.

BCC is not profitable to mine because the difficulty is the same as BTC while the price is much lower. If you are cloud mining BCC, your net revenue per day will be zero because of the daily fees.

Cant see balance of shares or really much data on the dashboard since pointing towards mining bch. So is that something you are working on and aware of as well? Because shares listed are zero yet could see them a day or 2 ago. Thanks.

We do not display data for BCC yet.

Please mine BTC for now, unless you're prepared to not make money. BCC is a work in progress and not profitable to mine at this point.

We mined some cash! :D It's at 26% of the original difficulty now, it got six 20% reductions after that 13 hour gap. Now if the price goes above $700 it will be the more lucrative chain.

Ahoi,
I'm new here and bought a lifetime contract with 2TH/s.
My payout is set to PPS.
Can I change the contract to PPLNS and how do I do it?
Or can I buy an additional contract with my account on PPLNS?
Or do I have to create a sub-account?
PPLNS is only offered to hardware miners on our pool, cloud miners must use PPS.
Ah oke thank you :)

Or can I take the banner hir from the forum?
I like your pool very well, the site and also the payouts.
I'm at Genesis Mining and HashFlare but I think Bitcoin.com pool will be my new favorite.

So... now that the difficulty drops are done for at least a few weeks, is it time to switch miners back to BCC and get more blocks for bitcoin.com? I know short term profits aren't there yet but if we're betting on BCC/BCH value shooting back up, it may be time to grab some blocks before other pools do the same.

If I understand the BCC difficulty algo, it only drops the difficulty by 20% if the average time across 6 blocks is more than 12 hours long. That is great for taking us from 24 hour blocks to something a bit more reasonable, but won't help us get from slightly under 2 hour blocks to 10 minute blocks. If I'm right (please comment!), that means we are going to be sitting at slightly under 120 minutes blocks until enough start mining to drive it down to 10 minute blocks. e.g. 12X more mining power. Continuing that math, we are now running with a difficulty of about 1/4 of what BTC has... so we either need 1/4 of the hash rate, or we have to wait 2016 blocks for a normal difficulty adjustment. Assuming 2 hour blocks for the foreseeable future, that is about 5.6 months from now... Of course that is linear, so if we quadruple the mining power, it would only be about 6 weeks. All this boils down to BCC having a complex profitability profile right now: If 1% of the hashrate is on BCC, your hash is 100X as important, but you would need to divide that by 12 (call it 8X as important after factoring that in)... so breakeven vs BTC happens if BCC price is equal to 1/8th (0.125) of BTC... I think. Did I do that math right?

ps. If more hash does move over, the above math would imply the price would need to rise in equal measure. e.g. If 4% of the hash capacity was on BCC, then it would have to be worth (0.125 * 4 = 50%) of BTC to remain comparably profitable. That, of course, gets reduce as the block times come down, but I'm thinking difficulty is artificially low now: we would need to be at 25% of the hash today, at this difficulty, to get 10 minutes blocks... 12.5% for 20 minute blocks, 6.25% for 40 minute blocks, 3.125% for 80 minute blocks...
