Again, pardon me but I am new, your help and patients is appreciated.

How do I get a Bitcoin address?

What is a Upline?

You have a Bitcoin address when you select "Receive" in the mobile app, or whenever you use a full service wallet.

With the bitcoin.com wallet, select Settings on the bottom right -> Personal Wallet -> More options -> Wallet address.

This is just the first unused Bitcoin address that was set up on installation. When you click Receive, a new address will be generated for you. You can receive any amounts to any of these addresses, and the final balance will show up on the home screen under "Wallets" -> Personal Wallet.

I don't think "upline" has any relevance to Bitcoin in the computing sense. It usually means uploading data to a central location. Then again I may have misunderstood the question. In what context do you mean "upline?"

If you're new to Bitcoin, you should know that there are plenty of savvy con-men who know there are a LOT of people just like you willing to believe too-good-to-be-true deals because "everyone's making money in Bitcoin!" and that's just how newcomers believe it works.

It doesn't. Fundamentally, Bitcoin is just another currency, and if a deal sounds too good to be true, it is. Even if a deal doesn't sound too good to be true, but still good, remain cautious.
