3 questions about getting started with Bitcoin,..

Wed Jul 26, 2017 10:07 pm

Hi Everyone!

I am completely new to Bitcoin. I want to create my own Bitcoin account so I can invest in stocks online where I can make a profit. I am sure many other new people to Bitcoin would like to know the answers to these questions,..

1) What are your top ten first steps to getting started with bitcoin so you can use your bitcoin wallet for sending and receiving purchases?

2) Also, I am Canadian and Bitcoin won't let me use my Canadian credit card and currency in my territory. So I have to purchase Bitcoins from a third party. What is the best and safest way to do this?

I want to invest the Bitcoins in a stock website called: https://hashblock.net

3) What do you think about this website and company?

Your advice and directions will be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Hashblock, and sites like it, are scams. People don't give away free money. And if you joined this forum just to promote it with a pretend "I'm a noob" post, I swear... *shakes fist*

Buy your bitcoin on accredited exchanges and transfer them to your own wallet to which you hold the private keys. Simple and scam free.

You can buy BTC with a Canadian credit card on Coinbase and Kraken to my knowledge. Other exchanges will probably allow you to do so as well. Keep in mind most exchanges will want some personal ID from you to buy BTC in large amounts.

I don't think there are as many as ten steps. :)

Download wallet software, buy bitcoins, and ... from there it's up to you.
2) Also, I am Canadian and Bitcoin won't let me use my Canadian credit card and currency in my territory. So I have to purchase Bitcoins from a third party. What is the best and safest way to do this?
localbitcoins.com perhaps. See for example:

Please don't. They will take your bitcoins and run.
