Since I don't really understand what you mean by "unsupported territory" its hard to answer but if you mean a country where you credit card is not supported then that shouldn't matter too much if you can use a VPN or tor and order via your credit card to your bitcoin address, people won't know what country you are in when purchasing.

Going by your username I'm guessing that you are a customer of Coinjar?
Do they accept credit cards?

hey bitkilo,
thanks for trying. I'm very much new to all this. almost computer illiterate. I'll explain my situation a little bit better. I want to purchase Bitcoins with the bitcoin official wallet. I have a online wallet with coinspot for small amounts of smaller currencies, but want to avoid the fees and buy straight from bitcoin. i downloaded and set up my wallet, it then came up with a link that said buy bitcoin using your credit card. I clicked on it and it sent me to a page on the bitcoin website saying territory not supported, credit card payments are not supported in your territory. I'm assuming that is because I'm travelling in Sri Lanka at the moment they don't have authority or something. My credit card is Australian but yeah I can't see there being any problem with that. should I hide my computers location? is that this vpn business your talking about. I did something like that to buy Netflix. is it secure? I am very aware of how painful this might be to read and reply to. I'd appreciate help very much. I put very little thought into my name and while I thought at 2am I came up with it I surely had just read something about coinjar. I know nothing and have nothing to do with them.
cheers in advance for any help

OK that helps, thanks.

Now I didn't have to read anymore than the first few lines of your post to see where the problem is, there is NO official bitcoin wallet, website or owner.
Bitcoin.com is just one domain name used to promote Bitcoin. Bitcoin.com is not an official website. Just like nobody owns the email technology, nobody owns the Bitcoin network.

Being a global currency I can't see why you would have any problem using your Australian credit card to purchase bitcoins from some of the major exchanges like
Bitstamp.net
Kraken.com
As long as they accept your type of credit card and you can pass the verification process then you shouldn't have any problems buying from anywhere on the planet.

You could even use our own service, although this service is completely run by Simplex for us so you would have to take up any questions with them about what card they accept and ect.
