60 bitcoins at $570/btc cost average --- will I make it?

Thu Nov 12, 2015 7:29 pm

Just wondering what you guys think.... I was delusional in the beginning and thought I was going to make a lot of money. Now I'll just be happy if I break even. I've accepted my loss and the volatility/unpredictability of the bitcoin market, and thankfully I don't need the money right away and I'm willing to hold on to these bitcoins for several years if I have to.

But do you guys think i'll ever break even? Dumb question, more for moral support really lol

I think if you continue holding, the day will come when you won't care if you bought at $570 or $5.

Did you buy at $570 approx 2 years ago? It has not been this high since then, although it did cross the $500 range recently.

I think bitcoins will either be worth many times their current value in the future... or nothing at all. It is a speculative investment and I wouldn't put any more money into it than you are able and prepared to lose. That said, I do think the upside is much larger than the downside, and I do think that the odds are that bitcoin will be worth significantly more than $570 in the future.

Happy to break even? No, no, no... Invest a sum that doesn't bother you if the price were to crash and then hold it for a long long time.

You didn't lose anything unless you sell/exchange your btc lower than your buyin price.

If you are not desperate then I would just continue to hold if I were you.

The fundamentals are still the same, the network and ecosystem is stronger than ever, I'm still bullish long term.
