I just downloaded Jaxx a couple of days ago to hold some Ether and i am really impressed with the wallet. You can't as Mycelium wallet is only for bitcoin. If you do not want to leave your Ether at Coinbase you would have to use a different wallet than Mycelium.
Depending on how much Ether you have you may just want to leave at Coinbase for convenience. If you want to move off Coinbase in to a wallet where you control the private keys the most secure option is a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S. If you do not need the high security of the Nano S look into Jaxx wallet for Android.
Had the same reaction. I think that it's rating on google playstore was only like 3.4/5? So my expectations were low.I just downloaded Jaxx a couple of days ago to hold some Ether and i am really impressed with the wallet. You can't as Mycelium wallet is only for bitcoin. It can hold a few different alt coins and has ShapeShift integrated.
Yes very good point to make, thanks for pointing that out.Don't use Jaxx like you would a Trezor for large amounts of bitcoin or altcoins it is far too easy for an attacker to steal your coins with access to your computer.
