Sun May 21, 2017 12:01 am

Hello everyone, I am terribly sorry for making this message seem like usual, but i have done my transaction 2 weeks ago, although i have used fees over 0.90euros. If you could somehow look and tell me if everything is that bad:) I have just read this forum and found ways how i could track it and control it, but for now i am just simply exhausted. 2 transactions: one is taking 14 days to be proceeded and another one for 2 already. Been using bitcoins for more tha na year but this happens to me first time.

Hello AntonCrypto,

I have split this post into a new thread, the quickest way to get help is to start a new topic of your own rather than posting in another users thread.

Now regarding your 2 transactions, both have tx fees that are too low to be confirmed on the network, unfortunately these fees would have been more than enough incentive for a miner to include these into the next block a year ago but these days the blocks are full and it is sadly becoming a privilege of the bitcoin rich to be able to pay the fees needed for confirmations. Bitcoin is moving further and further away from micro transactions being financially viable, nobody wants to pay $1 to send $0.50 but that's just about the reality nowadays.

The 1st one is a standard small transaction of only 225 bytes and the fee of 133.333 sat/B that was included should have been enough to receive a confirmation not so long ago but now you will need to more than double that fee if you want it included in a block.

The 2nd transaction shows that it is only 4 days old not the 2 weeks you mention, this could be because it has previously dropped off the network after not being confirmed for a few days and then being rebroadcast to the network automatically by your wallet, either way this transaction will probably not be confirmed and just drop off again because the fee is way too low (68.627 sat/B)
The size of this transaction is 816 bytes, calculating this by the recommended fee of 300 satoshis/byte on https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ it will need a fee of 244,800 satoshis if you want this transaction included in the next couple of blocks.

Thank you so much for helping me out! I am impressed how quick you have responded and explained to me everything. One of the transactions has been finally passed back to me and I have managed to send it again with a higher fee. Overall, my transaction was 372 bytes and I have decided to go with a crazy commission which is 1,048.387 sat/B, just to see how fast it can go. I have looked at the fees stats to determine fastest and cheapest way, but sine my transaction was unconfirmed for 2 weeks, the price has gone up at about 70 euros, so I considered it not so important to spend about 7 euros just for fees. Funny thing that I still have not received a single confirmation, although it's been almost 3 hours since I have done it. But no worries, I hope it will be confirmed soon because I still need to do another transaction today, so I hope it won't take long.
I will leave the transaction ID just in case it got stuck or something, sorry for those noob questions and thank you so much for your promt reply, i really appreciate it!

You are welcome, we at bitcoin.com are here to help the community.

That is a crazy high fee to add and i am shocked to see that it has still not received any confirmations but think i can see where it has gone wrong.
The transaction you have just sent with the high fee has an unconfirmed input from this transaction: https://blockchain.info/tx/8cc5939ce81b ... 252846afdd which is the transaction you made 2 days ago. This now means that the high fee on the newest transaction will either be enough incentive for a miner to confirm both transactions if that is possible for them or you will have to wait for that unconfirmed input to drop off the network.

This must be confusing for someone new to bitcoin and the network should not operate this way, not even 1 year ago neither of your first 2 transactions would have had problems receiving a confirmation.

No need to apologise for the questions, you will pick it up as you go along, we were all new to this not so long ago too.

Looks like your large fee worked, transactions have no been confirmed.

Just remember to check the optimal fee before sending in future.

This transaction is only 2 days old so your wallet must be re broadcasting the tx each time it drops off the network.

It should drop off again in the next 24hrs and back to your wallet, try catch it and resend with a higher fee, something around 300sat/B should work.

Dear moderator!
I'm back with another trouble, please don't be mad at me hahaha.
Look: I have followed your advice regarding the fees and looked it up which one is the best fee to use. I have even used more, because at that point, it was recommended to have 260s/byte, altough I have used 333.
The problem is that for some reason, recently BTC transactions started taking too long and it makes me sad from one point. Even with a previous case, when i left around 8 euros fees, it took me slightly more than a day to confirm my transaction, which is already strange.

This is my ID transaction, if by any case you can influence this, pass it back or anything- I will be forever grateful. I would even like to give you a tip or something, since I really appreciate the effort you put in into explaining everything and being so calm about it :D.
Anyways, let me know if there is anything else I can do to help this.
Kindest Regards,
Anton
