Waiting 2 days for confirmation - Paid maximum fee on Electrum - Help Please

Hi, I paid the maximum fee on Electrum, normally it goes through in about 8 hours. I have now been waiting for 2 days. I have no idea what is happening? Has the Bitcoin network crashed and can anyone help me?

no, the bitcoin network didn't crash.
could you post the transaction id (txid) of the stuck transaction, that way i could have a look at the problem

I noticed that Bitcoin is having a peak in trading so maybe that is it?

It is now 2.5 days since i submitted it. I did maximum on Electrum which is 100 satoshis.

Is anyone else now getting transactions cancelled.

The system is really bad.

You really have to raise the fee on your electrum wallet, 100sat/b is considered a very low fee today.

There is nothing to worry about though, if it doesn't get mined in the next days or so it will just drop off the network and back into your wallet.

I thought it was the best fee as set it to max on electrum. I think i need to change my electrum settings.

What fee would you recommend?
