Bitcoin market cap volume is insane

If you look at the amount of money that has gone into bitcoin this past week, it's insane. On Nov 1, right before the spike, we were at $4.6B. Then at the peak we topped at $6.4B, and now are dropping back. These are billions, not millions.... where are billions of dollars coming from that are being invested in and out in just a few days?
