CEX.IO Bitcoin Exchange (Official Thread)

CEX.IO is one of the best exchanges out there. I'm using it for Bitcoin and Ethereum trades. BTC

It was fine until I tried to Withdraw some USD. I paid $50 to withdraw a few $000's. 1 day later the status changed to 'Bank Transfer Completed'. Ok, great. I log into my bank account and no sign of the money and no pending transactions!

I opened a chat support call (that was good to see) and was told it takes upto......20 banking days...20 banking days ladies and gentlemen!

Well my withdrawl says 'Bank Transfer Completed' but my receiving bank says their are no pending transactions, so what is the status of my transfer?

you do not have to worry, it is impossible to lose the track of your funds, in modern banking system

let me make an analogy for you
we've sent you a letter, but you still have not received it, basically it's "on the way"
if you want, we can escalate your request to our finance department, so they can provide you with the transaction details

I work in finance so I know it is always actually held by some entity. It is never 'on the road' or something similar. The moment it debits one account it credits another. So yes, please do escalate it so I can be informed of it's where abouts and the route it is going to take over the next 20 days. Thanks

David, thanks for that. Do those 'transaction details' include where my money is? What payment bank current has my money and/or is dealing with the payment? This message never got through, the chat tool just said '...Reconnecting' i.e. David had already disconnected.

Hi:
I have a problem and I would like some help to get the info the support people are asking from me.
First I would like to state that I have no access to my account now, and I don't know my email address nor my username.
I still can pass the first stage of the authentication process but I can not get the 2FA code as my Authenticator App got reset by my phone.
So how is that?.... I don't know but it seems not other people have the same problem, when I registered last year I used the Facebook button to register, after that I set up 2FA but unexperienced then I did not save the backup code, all that was a long time ago, after that I saw the service was not good for me then and never used it again, I did not receive an email from CEX.IO and I did not checked the email that was registered there nor my username.
4 days ago i returned by a recommendation, I verified my credit card which I already have added the first time, and verified my account, I sent all the pictures they asked from me, then I deposit $20 to my account.
2 days ago my authenticator was reset, as I said I log in with the Facebook button and then it asks me for the 2FA code, I contact support and they keep asking me my email and username, it seems my Facebook email is not registered there, I don't know why, as I never have changed it, anyway I have tried deleting my shared email from the CEX.IO Facebook App and adding it again, I never knew which email CEX.IO have and less about a username I never used.
I have found a 17 numbers User id in the CEX.IO Facebook Authenticator App, but it seems the support people doesn't recognize it.
I have my account BTC adress where I was going to make a transfer this week.
How can I find my account?
