How to start using bitcoin

Hello Ryan,

I have been researching on Bitcoin, as you said full understanding without IT or financial background is a bit complicated. None the less, I am very interested. As a beginner, how do I start and what are the necessary steps I must take.

The idea of bitcoin and wallets and transactions and the blockchain (and so much more) is technical and complicated. However it can be simplified, particularly if you select specific things to learn about each week or month. There's also a TON of information available, so much so that it can be incredibly difficult to know where to start.
