Roger Ver owns bitcoin.com domain doesn't he? Then I'd assume he controls the forum.

I figured that was (part of?) the point of bringing this environment online, no?

I'm in control of Bitcoin.com, but don't have time to manage every aspect of the project myself.
I don't have any experience running a forum, and wont be actively running this one myself, but I do intend to be an active participant.

Example here: New Bitcoin Billboard

I can say that I don't intend to have any of the mods censor anything that isn't spam, and if the viagra spam is accepting Bitcoin, we might even let that stay too.

In short, this is a community effort, so to be a success, we will need help from lots of people.
The good news is that this site already receives thousands of new visitors every single day, most of which are brand new to Bitcoin, so this is our chance to show them just how amazing Bitcoin is, and how wonderful our community can be.

In another day or two once we are sure everything is working well enough with the forum software, we will add a link to the forum from the main template of the site. Please help the noobs once they start arriving!
Help spread Bitcoin by linking to everything mentioned here:

This is a great initiative! Hopefully this can show others that Bitcoin is so much more than just the "Core" implementation. Nothing good comes from ignoring and hiding other alternatives to Core in the hope that they dissappear. I hope this forum will be a place where we can freely discuss the pros and cons of other implementations without being afraid of getting banned. Thank you for doing this!

Also, shouldn't this be under the "The Forum"-category?

Great job on the forum thus far guys. It is sleek and the options seem to work well so far. It will be good to have alternatives at our disposal other than bitcointalk.org and /r/bitcoin (not that I don't mind those places either).

Looking forward to discussing bitcoin and collaborating with you all.
