I think 500k is a gross overestimation. For it to even get into the six figure ranges it would need to be globally accepted just about everywhere. Banks would need to be willing to directly handle fiat to BTC transfers,

It would need to be at a level where you could use BTC to pay your rent or mortgage via BTC without a problem.
