I was getting ready to buy some last Wed at 266 and went against my intuition. Now what to do?!

You can split your bet. Buy some now and some more later.

Yeah I saw that too: trading-discussion/chinese-bitcoin-exch ... t2033.html

And maybe I just don't understand the Chinese exchanges enough, but why would the price increase allow them to accept direct bank deposits, but if the price had not run up, then they could not? I just don't get that logic at all. Unless it's more political where previously the PBOC "banned" bitcoin so nobody could make bank deposits, and this run up in price is viewed as a positive indicator for the PBOC and that there won't be any banning? Idk, I'm kind of clueless on things over in China.

Back in late April the Chinese government prohibited major domestic banks from dealing with BTC related companies, mostly targeting local exchanges, effectively blocking the transfer of fiat (RMB) from a user's bank account to a known exchange's bank account.

Chinese exchanges quickly got around that by having the users contact customer support via instant messaging, who would provide different bank accounts (usually personal accounts or non-btc company accounts) so that users could wire the money to that account. Once the money arrived, the user's exchange balance would be credited. Each transfer was individually processed, so you basically had to wait for one of the costumer support agents to be online and available.

Due to the recent surge in trading volume, the agents were unable to timely handle all deposit requests and this was becoming a major bottleneck. AFAIK, the official rules haven't changed. What BTCC seems to have done is simply automate the process through internet banking, removing the need for human intervention.

So where do you think we are heading now? Why the sudden stop in big volumes? Also why the sudden stop in crazy buying?
On K-PAX we pay everything with Bitcoin. It is cryptocurrency that you, people, will use very soon. You are just not ready yet.

Hello fellow bitcoin aficionados,

I was looking for good new trade ideas the other day and I found this site: http://www.whaleclub.co and their twitter account @whaleclubco; and it's really useful! :D
They basically archive thousands of trade ideas and hundreds of bitcoin traders contribute on a daily basis.
There’s even daily polls to get a sense of what other traders are thinking.

Just wanted to share !
