Is it really that bad if confirming transactions take 12 hours or more? It will still be a peer-to-peer, non-profit desentralised banking system and valuta in one that is faster than regular banks. And if regular banks have gotten that much more people in a year, they would have had some "small" issues as well;) And transfering money would have taken at least 72 hours!(At working days)
And if you could do an international transfer as well it is 24 hours if you dont want to pay more than 10% of 100EUR you send.. And that is right now, you also need a passport or driver licence etc. (the receiver as well)
So just remember how big of advantage Bitcoin gives us even if you look at it upside down!
