Help translate "Mastering Bitcoin"

Hello everyone,

I am asking for help and volunteers to make Mastering Bitcoin available in as many languages as possible. As you may know, I worked out a deal with my publisher (O'Reilly Media) to license the 1st edition of the book under a Creative Commons open-source license (specifically CC-BY-SA). This makes it possible to use the entire book in any way, mashup, edit, revise etc. I also allows independent translations from volunteers.

I have a project on Transifex, a translation site, for translating the book. A team of more than 200 volunteers has already completed translations in Japanese, Hungarian and Korean. We are above 80% done in Spanish, French, Italian and Brazilian Portuguese. There are 31 languages in total which need volunteers to complete.



Not only can you help educate thousands of developers on bitcoin, you can learn bitcoin in more depth by helping with this effort!

Hey. Do you plan to sell your book directly for bitcoin?

I wonder if there would be interest in a book shop (printed and digital) accepting bitcoin, concentrating on btc and related topics?

If you want to add your language, add the general one, rather than the country specific one - eg. French instead of French (France).
