HELP: Unconfirmed transaction after 2 days with fee

Wed Feb 22, 2017 3:45 pm

Hi guys, I am new to bitcoin. This is my first transaction. I sent bitcoins to Electrum (software wallet). The transaction was relatively quick and I paid a fee (recommended dynamic fee). However, the status says it is unconfirmed. I thought nothing of it as it takes time, but it's been 2 full days since the transaction and it still says unconfirmed balance. Please help.

If it is purely because It hasn't been processed yet, what can I do to speed it up in future? I have already got the recommended dynamic fee as well as transaction fee. Thanks in advance

Your fee seems plenty high enough. It looks like the network is just being spammed to death at the moment. Try using this tool to accelerate it: https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/

Your Transaction size (in bytes) => 260 bytes

Your Transaction fee (in BTC) => 0.00013 BTC

Your Transaction fee (in satoshi's) => 13000 sat

Your Transaction fee (in satoshi's/byte) => 49 sat/byte

Your current priority => 2564494471.6429 (high priority)

it seems like your fee of 49 sat/byte isn't high enough to get into the next 24 blocks with a 95% certainty at the time of writing
