Requesting Staff privileges..

Hey People,

It is impressive and quite innovative work ,but i wonder why it looks an exact copy of bitcointalk ?
however i assume its just beginning and i guess there will be some improvements RIGHT ? i mean add some new boards or some new sections ?

i do see some discouragement on signature campaigns ,this topic is debatable ,but it could serve a very good add profit for the forum which in turn can be used to improve or update the the forum or to fulfill the requirements if any.

however i am interested in the forum and would be willing to donate some time to it
If you people think i can contribute to the forum and can help improve the knowledge of BITCOIN among people , guide newbies bout it ..or help reduse the spamming on forum , i would be happy to get a staff position here.

i would be happy to get some information from the current two global mods here @bitkilo and litecoinguy.
correct me if i am wrong or if there is a different way for this to be done.

yep i think there should be some technology gaming or entertainment section as it helps bitcoin grow and can get more new people into it .
also i dont see any place for internet marketing or social business info...? neither i see any information related to FOREX or currency exchanges.

Stick around for a few days and add some quality posts and I suspect one of the existing mods will give you some staff privileges as well.

I think the delay may just be from the time zones and it being a long holiday weekend in several countries around the world.

Sorry for the delay answering your questions but I am in Australia so time difference can make my replies seem late. We also had a holiday for grand final day (yes a day off work paid for a football game) what a country

Now lets look at your ideas,
Tech gaming section: What would you like to see here, games that use bitcoin as a currency for power ups ect? Closest thing here so far would be the gambling section as i don't know of many games outside of gambling that use BTC.
Do you play games with bitcoin? if so which ones?

Entertainment: What sort of entertainment would you like to see?

Regarding internet marketing i wouldn't want to see too much advertising here but a spot on the users profile for their own business marketing link might be good, best bet for now would be to put that kind of stuff into your signature.
I think they are currently working on adding extras into users profile like a spot for PGP key and maybe something to show that the user is verified.

Have you done any work previously in the bitcoin community?
Once i know a little more about you we could talk staff privileges, nothing personal just your BTC interest, online experience, stuff like that.

I wasn't aware that you were a moderator, i know you have asked for moderator privileges on the Turkish board but unsure if that has been implemented yet.
Probably a stupid questions coming from a global mod but did we make you a mod yet?

I can use some of the tools in local board but not all. I can delete posts, I can't sticky threads. I don't see badge in my profile too. I requested to join Moderators in Groups but haven't approved yet.

Hello people, i apologize for the inactivity but i was gone for a small vacation . I came across this tracking thing which is very very annoying .
After speaking to lauda and else it was proven that this forum has 7 trackers and 3 of them are active .
However a very bad move in the very beginning.

I did a search of the other forum and /r/ but his name didn't come up. I'm sure you guys did the same.

Tech,gaming and entertainment is a bit diversified section ,i mean something different from the same old bullshit we see on forums.
There are hundreds of games involved in crypto's but i would agree with them being placed in GAMBLING.

Tech..could bring a lot if people and opportunities into the forum .MIning hardware ,Gpu's etc...Specially the fringe stream people who want to discuss about it and have some abilities to work on common projects.

Now coming to the staff privileges , I am interested in a Global Moderator seat on this forum.

First of all nobody that I know of tracked you or looked into anything you do, all that was done was a username search on bct forum and Reddit, this was necessary to find what experience you may already have in the bitcoin community.
I would not want to ne tracked and i wouldn't do it to others, i don't even agree with doxxing.
You must understand that you are asking for staff privileges and this forum must be careful who they hire or just 1 mod could ruin it all.
Hope there's no hard feeling but a forum username search was necessary for a decision on your request. No personal information was gathered and to tell you the truth i have better things to do than trace people i dont even know, sounds boring.

A moderator in not a paid job and trust me it takes up a lot of time so Im just interested why you would want that possision.

Its OK ,you people failed to do it and i have no problem with it ..it would have been a different case if you could have doxxed/traced me successfully.

It looks like you are not an old member of BCT and maybe you havent spoken to any mods/admins about this but this forum has trackers inbuilt .
I am not here to get paid neither for a tip ,

I can probably patrol the forum once a week and give knowledge to new one's about crypto's ,about this forum and all that.
where do you think such a guy should stand ?
Its highly unlikely that a simple sig earning poster is going to donate his time to the community and if a guy is doing then it clearly shows his interests.

On a side note what assets do you want me to serve to be a staff guy.

I don't know why this forum would run active trackers as far as I know we don't need to know who our members are. But you probably know more about that stuff than me.

Your right I was not a long time user of BCT, I think I signed up there in about early 2014 but that still gives me almost 2 years of experience in the bitcoin forum world, and that's not a lot.

I am also not what you would call an expert on the bitcoin protocol, like most of us we are still learning as we go and probably will be for the rest of our life as bitcoin changes.

The assets the forum would require from a Global Moderator is mainly just time, and lots of it. Once a week just wouldn't cut it.
I spend on average at least probably 15-20 hours a week (2-3 hours a day/night) helping keep the spam away and moving posts, then there is all the PM I get from other members that have to be answered, I really didn't think it would take so much of my time when I first signed up but it's something I am passionate about so I don't care about the time, gives me something to do and learn at the same time.

As for now I would say keep posting, you can still help members new to bitcoin the same as if your were a moderator. get back to me in a couple of months and if we like your work (I cant appoint mods myself) then there could always be a spot opened up for someone willing to put in the time.
