Proposal for virtual incubator at Bitcoin.com

I wanted to propose an addition to bitcoin.com to see if the idea has any support from forum members.

How about a virtual incubator where various grassroots projects are seeded. The purpose of any project should be to increase bitcoin adoption. It would not be for discovering upcoming entrepreneurs or creating new companies or new coins. The wiki and/or this forum could be used for making proposals. These would then have to work towards some sort of approval by meeting defined criteria. It should be open, transparent, collaborative and use crowdfunding where possible.

An incubator like this could help with all sorts of small scale usability initiatives. New software with bitcoin integrated from the start might emerge. I would support something to help track the explosion in bitcoin use around the world and tools which helps visualise bitcoin usage. One thing I would be keen to support is a Wikipedian-in-residence project for improving articles directly related to Bitcoin. I would also like to see some sort bitcoin/blockchain inspired art project.

I have little knowledge on how incubators are deployed and managed. I would include a review process and maintain a limit on the total number of running projects to ensure focus. I have to admit I haven't been reading this forum for long. I just thought it was a neat idea and I wanted to share it to get some feedback.
