Monero is coming to Coinbase?

Perhaps this means they will be adding Monero in the future now that Kraken and Bitfinex already support it.

Each exchange should list as many crypto-currencies as possible to give users the most choice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The presentation was interesting. I'm sure coinbase will need to hand over their viewkeys so it can be okay on the legal side. If this happens, XMR will be probably be held in a much higher regard.

The most interesting aspect of Coinbase adding Monero besides making it accessible to a broader public would be the regulatory approach, they are well known to use analytics services to blacklist coins and ban accounts with suspicious activity, that won't be possible with the Monero blockchain. Around 37:00 fluffypony suggests requiring users to hand over the viewkey of their personal address receiving the coins, this could put Coinbase in a minor position of power but they would be limited to the survey of coins and users they deal with, the other users of Monero won't be affected. If Coinbase doesn't add Monero sooner or later someone else with a similar regulatory "obligation" will and they will have an advantage from being the first to map the process.

In my excitement for Monero, I misread Bitstamp's recent press release about XRP as XMR.
Maybe the XMR press release will be coming next month.

Coblee also tweeted that he thinks XMR is a solid coin with a good dev team. Having XMR added to coinbase would be great!
