I don't think so as I think Simplex only accepts credit or debit cards only for security purposes. They go through a number of checks that are not disclosed due to fraud prevention.Do you know if we are able to use prepaid gift cards?Hello mrgrace,HELLO, IM NEW HERE, I understand that I can buy bitcoin directly via http://www.buy.bitcoin.com pls I'd like to know what the verification requirements are for placing an order via the channel. hmm, alright, thanks! They seem to have a 7.5% fee but that isn't so bad compared to the other companies accepting credit card.I don't think so as I think Simplex only accepts credit or debit cards only for security purposes. If you use a credit/debit card that is legitimate, you will only need to provide first, last names, email and phone numbers.

As Westernory mentioned above, unfortunately Simplex do not accept prepaid gift cards. The cards that they accept are listed in their FAQ which I also linked above. I have quoted it here for your convenience.Do you know if we are able to use prepaid gift cards?
FremontWhich credit cards are accepted?
Simplex accepts most major credit cards, including VISA and MasterCard. We also accept some virtual, prepaid and debit cards.
Note, however, that some issuer banks have their own terms on where and when those cards can be used, and may decline the charge on their side.
It is worth noting, depending on the type of prepaid card - it may work.As Westernory mentioned above, unfortunately Simplex do not accept prepaid gift cards. You will have to speak to Simplex and ask them if the merchant bank allows purchases from said card. For this, you will have to send them the first 8 digits of the card, if I remember correctly.
Honestly I'm not sure, and don't want to give you any potentially incorrect information.@Fremont:
I was wondering if you have any info on whether or not Vanilla cards or simply just prepaid visa cards would be included in the "some" prepaid cards?
Also virtual gift cards, would you mind asking them which companies they accept?
hmm, yeah from their FAQ, they actually mentioned that they do accept some prepaid cards.@Fremont:It is worth noting, depending on the type of prepaid card - it may work.

Well yeah I'll ask their support team some day when i've got the time to and potentially purchase via buy.bitcoin.com if they do accept prepaid/virtual gift cards. They should really make it more clear in the FAQ though, as to what is acceptable as a prepaid card and what is not.Honestly I'm not sure, and don't want to give you any potentially incorrect information.@Fremont:

Your best bet would be to contact their support team directly, though I can certainly make inquiries for you if you wish.

I think the problem with prepaid cards arises with the issuing banks of those cards - there are so many different banks around the world with varying policies that it would be nigh impossible for Simplex to state whether each one is accepted or not.Well yeah I'll ask their support team some day when i've got the time to and potentially purchase via buy.bitcoin.com if they do accept prepaid/virtual gift cards. Thanks for your time anyways.
Try newer prepaid cards, for example, when a new card company comes out with prepaid cards, try it with this.Do you mean a prepaid card like the one you can get issued online? Or is it a real giftcard from a shop or something? I'm a bit confused.
On another note, is that the only place you are looking to buy at? Since I'm sure there are plenty of others offering to sell BTC where you might have better luck with the card.
So basically like a prepaid VISA or Mastercard where you just take the credentials of the card, CCV and all that and then input it into the payment processing fields.Do you mean a prepaid card like the one you can get issued online?
