BTC vanished (Blockchain wallet)

Sat Dec 24, 2016 9:20 pm

Hi, I'm new in this forum and in the BTC world. I hope this is a good community, so nice to meet you!
Anyway, my experience with BTC has started in the worng way I think!
I moved, 1 week ago, from payza to my BTC wallet (blockchain.info) only 20 euro, just to try how it works and so on...
Unfortunately yesterday I log in in my wallet and my BTC were zero! I couldn't believe it because I have almost all the level of security and it was just 1 week and only 20 euros!!! So I checked the transaction, but there weren't any transaction, also the only transaction I did (to move that money into the btc wallet) was gone. It looked like a new empty wallet!
Is there anyone who can explain me what happen? and what I did wrong?

Thanks

I find it very hard to believe that your Bitcoin just vanished. You must done something.

Go to Payza. It will show the transaction ID of your withdrawal. Post that here, and we can work from there.

You may have been scammed by a third party exchanger, I think. They could have either faked the transaction ID after you have sent the Payza funds, or they may have double spent the funds. Or you might just be daydreaming when you actually exchanged your Payza.

Where did you exchange your payza funds? Was it one with reputation or just random ones that you found on google?

The best you can do here is to file a chargeback via Payza, I'm pretty sure that they are like Paypal, reversible. However you have to provide sufficient proof, and a screenshot of your empty wallet isn't sufficient as you could just create infinitely many bitcoin addresses as you want to.

Hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for the answers.
I used payza to move USD to BTC. They have this trasaction directly, I dind't use third party exchanger.
But anyway I received my money on Blockchain, and for 5 days I have my wallet with 0,001 (Something like that). So I received the BTC from payza, everything was perfect.
But after 5/6 days my few btc were gone.
And an other thing is that all the transactions had been deleted. Also the transaction from payza to blockchain, the only one I had.

That shouldn't have happened at all because bitcoin transactions are final and are supposedly immutable.

Was the transaction ever confirmed? If it was then i would find it odd that it ever disappeared. If it didn't then there is a chance that your transaction did legitimately disappear off the blockchain.

Anyways, post your wallet address here so we can see what is actually happening. Also you should talk to payza as i said.

We need to see the first transaction txid and your btc address to be able to offer you much help.

If there is not txid showing then unfortunately you may have downloaded a malicious blockchain.info wallet, what was the site you first downloaded from?

You could go to the settings page and then addresses, scroll down until you see the address you had funds sent to and check for any unspent inputs.

Thats... really weird.

Usually if it were a double-spend, it would disappear after max 4 days. If the transaction just disappeared with that, it might be that your blockchain.info wallet is glitching out. If you still have the bitcoin address that you used to receive the bitcoin, please post it here.

Also, as I said before, Payza should show the transaction ID on their site. Post that here too.
