Hi everyone!
I wonder if there is a way to find out when a particular bitcoin was mined i.e. could I claim that all bitcoins that are in my wallet were self-mined in - let's say - the year 2010? Could anyone proof me wrong?

I really would have no idea how to do it myself but i can't see why it would not be possible, everything is logged on the blockchain.
Since new coins are generated as a reward to the miners when a block is found i'm guessing you would have to determine which block the coin originally came from but coins being split all the time it would not be an easy task.
If you want to try then it might be best to start with some newly generated coins and try follow their progress through the blockchain, that might give you an idea how to don it backwards but what your asking would not be easy.

Not possible. You see, Bitcoin isn't like an actual coin. It doesn't exist, to be traded over and over. Instread of thinking it is an actual asset, think of it as a number. The balance of your Bitcoin address.
If your Bitcoin address has 12.5 Bitcoin that you mined, and you mine another 12.5 into the same address next year, and send 0.001 to someone who has 0.999 BTC, when was that Bitcoin mined?
Over time, Bitcoins are constantly being mixed between addresses. Its like getting a hundred boxes of Lego and pouring them all into one pile.
The system of Bitcoin is simple. You are not exchanging coins per se, you are simply giving other people numbers. Your address goes down, their address goes up.

With Bitcoin, you can cryptographically sign a message using your private key and that message can then be verified to your address.
If you made claims like this, they could be disproven by your inability to sign a message.

This has nothing to do with signing a message. Since it is cryptographically signed, there is no timestamp on a signature.With Bitcoin, you can cryptographically sign a message using your private key and that message can then be verified to your address.

What one can do is to check the taint of the coins, and see if they have gone through anyone elses hands. If they have, then why would you still have them?
Another way is to see if the Bitcoin were mined by a pool or someones home IP.
