It's quite interesting to see how blockchain technology is easy to access for everybody to use and yet many companies would rather sacrifice user security than actually implementing blockchain technology into their systems.

I mean, bank records should be kept decentralised, so it is immutable and nobody can hack into it easily.

What I love about the blockchain is that it can be applied to any sort of virtual information. It's versatility is ideal for data storage to proof of work or transaction.

The blockchain could do anything.

Yeah, it could potentially replace everything in use right now in the banking industry, file sharing industry, from public transport to prison records. Everything can be recorded on the blockchain and is impossible to remove. However not a lot of people appreciate that right now.

However it's great to see that the blockchain's greatness is being recognised. Big services, namely Megaupload, are moving to decentralised distributed storage solutions to preserve the integrity and existence of information.

Hopefully so. Kim Dotcom is hated by the government because of Megaupload and I do hope that won't discourage him from further developing this project.

Blockchain technology like Factom is ready for the market, it's just a matter of refining and getting more users.

Knowing Kim, he won't be discouraged. He seems to have his mind set on releasing megaupload 2 and bitcache to the world very soon.

Most blockchain projects are like this. They have alot of potential, but with the current state of the community, they just don't get the attention they deserve.

Yeah, there are a lot of blockchain technologies out there that really stand out and adds value to the entire ecosystem of cryptocurrencies but there are some that are just being utilised as a tool to generate profit for the founder.

And for mega, i'll definitely be looking out for the new release :)
