Thu Dec 15, 2016 6:35 pm

Hi, im extremely new to using bitcoins so haven't got much knowledge on it at all. About two hours ago I sent some bitcoins to another address using MultiBit HD wallet. Since then its been stuck on "sending", says it has been seen my 33 peers but 0 conformations.

Can someone please help me and explain what is happening. Have I lost my money or do i just wait?

Try the link to ViaBTC in my signature below.

Why did this happen? Blockstream Core is forcing a fee-market upon Bitcoin users, it is not only illegal, it is causing massive problems in Bitcoin.

Bitcoin itself is working on a solution which is switching the network to Bitcoin Unlimited, which solves the problem. Until then, if you are experiencing unconfirmed transactions, use the ViaBTC transaction accelerator! Good luck!!!!!!!

If you are running a version of Bitcoin Core, stop using it. Upgrade to Bitcoin Unlimited or Classic immediately.

Fix Your Unconfirmed Transaction.

Excuse my ignorance, but I understand your stance on the block size and fee situation, I am just confused as to why you are suggesting forcing fees is illegal?
