I'm not sure if this is the first NFC bitcoin card, but I do think NFC has some potential in the physical crypto-collectibles world. :)

I was thinking the same thing but i could be getting mixed up with wallets like Mycelium that offer NFC, sounds good either way.

Can you use NFC with IOS? If I remember correctly, Apple has been stalking its implementation for a long time.

Apple has had NFC since the iPhone 5 (or one of it's siblings, the 5S, 5+, 5C, etc)

The thing is, if I remember correctly, the NFC protocol is not 100% secure. So at the moment these cards are only suitable for receiving transactions, not sending them.

Correct, it would be comparable to someone being able to steal your pin by being close enough to you to be able to watch what you do, they would need to touch your device.

You should only ever hold small amounts of Bitcoin in the public, the same way you do your bank account (checkings / savings). For example, small amounts for everyday purchases such as Starbucks on your NFC card and large amounts in cold-storage.

There are other great retail payment options as well, such as debit cards that work with Bitcoin and fiat.
