Surely it would be fair for wikipedia readers and bitcoin newcomers to be aware of bitcoin censorship happening in Venezuela, Russia among other countries and "r/bitcoin", "bitcointalk.org" social networking sites.

There's a whole article on legality of Bitcoin by country. For example, the section on Russia mentions bitcoin-related sites being blocked:

As for forum etc. censorship, I think for the uninvolved that's just internet drama and wouldn't meet notability criteria.
