This depends on two factors:

1. Hardware Efficiency
2. Cost of electricity

Since Bitcoin mining operations centralise themselves around the cheapest electricity we can call this a constant. If hardware efficiency continues to rise then the price of each mined Bitcoin will continue to drop because you are maintaining the same difficulty using less energy, therefore you can sell cheaper to maintain your operation. I think the only way this logic will change is if more mining competition shows up but as we see mining operations are consolidating and/or shutting down.

As a bold prediction I would say above the previous all time high, probably somewhere around $2000 and maybe above. Where it will stabilise will depend how new development like OpenBazaar will take off and retain value from the bubble burst.

I am gonna go extreme and say 15k per bitcoin because I think we will have yet another bubble cycle like we have had in the past, during 2016.

We have a hell of a lot more people who are mining bitcoin, trading bitcoin, and using bitcoin than ever before, there are many times more users and disciples of bitcoin and blockchain technology. Bitcoin is a lot less scary than it was a few years ago for 'normal people', and since it has been in the news many times, I think people have become more relaxed about buying bitcoin than they were in the past. This is compounded by big companies who are publicly announcing they accept bitcoin, or bitcoin companies making the news. Everyone these days wants to have an opinion about bitcoin, if you mention it, someone has something to say about it, that is good for publicity as far as I am concerned.

It is also a lot easier for people to buy bitcoin these days than it was in the past, where in some countries there was literally no way to buy at all. The previous bubble cycles have been many times larger than the previous one, because more people are involved, and higher prices. A lot of people who have gone through the previous cycles are much more prepared for the signs this time, and are probably already buying and sitting on bitcoin. Leading up to the next cycle, momentum is going to be many times more than we had previously, and with the reward halving, there will be less bitcoin around, adding to the price rise.

This figure might sound insane, but so did $1, or even $50 for that matter. I remember when my friends and I were all laughing at the idea that the price could even reach $50, now we cry, because we didnt have the vision to stockpile ahead of time.

Too much money has been pouring into the bitcoin space for the price to stay as it is for very long, or drop drastically for any length of time I believe. Look at the volume of bitcoin being traded these days, there is a lot of trading going on, across many different exchanges, where previously there was not nearly as much on average, and very few exchanges to speak of, like 3 that everyone was using (bitstamp, mtgox, btce).

So you may think I am crazy, but with bitcoin, anything is possible, trust me on that.
