List out your opinions..
What exactly is your question,
What way is currently used to way to kept your transactions secure from your wallet to the recipient? or
What are the current best ways to secure bitcoins?

i am no expert on the bitcoin network but is it not the miners and network that secure the transactions?
Double spends are picked up by the miners and are not allowed to proceed.

What security information are you specifically looking for so our members can give you the best answers?

Its unclear to me too what OP means, however here are some procedures to secure your bitcoin and when using it.

1. Create strong password of 20 characters with combinations of Capital letters, Small letters, numbers and symbols
2. Secure your password in a safe place.
3. Use Second Factor Authentication (2FA) like google authenticators, email confirmations, etc)
4. Always backup of your wallet.dat
5. Use cold storage (paper wallet, hardware wallets, software wallets using offline computers) as much as possible for large quantities
6. Never leave your coins in exchange for long period of time.
7. Double check your deposit/withdraw address before sending

Hope it helps. ;)
