yeah MMM is a ponzi and this has been known for a long time, if global MMM using bitcoin as a means of payment for their communities and it is not impossible, I hope it does not bring harm to the community bitcoin

From what I understand MMM and some other ponzi schemes are different in that the bitcoin is for the annual membership subscription, but the money you get is in your own currency. All the payments you get are not from a central company that be shut down, or whose bank accounts can be frozen, they are from other members in the scheme, so your payments are made directly into your account from other random people who are participating.

As far as I know the bitcoin payment is the subscription that goes to the guys running the scheme, which is easier for them to move around the world, much easier than if it was to a traditional bank account.
