I've always viewed Bitcoin in this light. A corporation arguably operating with no costs and a limitless pool of employees willing to work for equity. I hope it can serve as a blueprint for future corporations, as it would be exciting if an autonomous corporation providing some sort of service could be created.
Off the top of my head, a giant free wi-fi network with onion routed internet where anyone running a node received some sort of reward for their unique connections. Wireless routers are commonplace in households today. Extending encryption and privacy to free internet access could be as revolutionary as Bitcoin. Perhaps if it became popular, not only would TOR speeds be vastly improved and everyone would have access to free encrypted internet, but wi-fi technology would be improved as companies wanting to cash in on this development by providing equipment would no doubt find ways to advance the technology like the CPU->GPU->FPGA->ASIC evolution we have seen in Bitcoin. It would also be awesome to watch as the web grew and more people were able to participate without having to pay for internet to be an access point. While "corporations" like this seem far fetched now because of the costs of operation, I think there are many great ideas for improving society that will be possible as individuals follow the Bitcoin blueprint for success.
