The proprietary on-chain analysis tool under a sophisticated name 'Star Atlas' is launched by Huobi

Star Atlas by Huobi will allow checking Bitcoin funds and addresses for fraud history. The tool aims to attract more people to their platform (obviously), as well as to allow traders to do some work for them. Instead of dealing with dirty funds that inaccurate traders send to the platform, the management seems like they decided to give the traders a weapon of self clearance. Yep, abandon meditation, here's the new feature leading to Enlightenment and peace of mind.

Huobi claims that management is following the global regulators in terms of AML policy. The KYC requirements allow them to easily spot scammers and negotiate with them. However, in some rare cases, even an honest trader can receive 'dirty' Bitcoin from somebody and bring that to the exchange. Since many of the exchanges use the same wallet address for deposits, dirty coins are soon mixed with clean ones.
