Introduction
Our mission - FREE

You have the right to freedom of transaction: to freely transfer value whenever and however you see fit, in either physical or digital form. Before the inception of Bitcoin, commerce on the Internet had come to almost exclusively rely on centralized institutions serving as trusted third parties to process electronic payments. These institutions effectively serve as gatekeepers for these financial markets, limiting your freedom of transaction. Bitcoin sought to provide more freedom by indiscriminately providing the means to create an account (ie. bank account), with the added benefit of reliable, fast and low-cost transactions. hybrix proposes a means to interconnect most ledger technologies and hereby safeguard and expand your freedom of transaction.

The problem - COLLABORATE

Many distributed ledger technologies (DLTs for short) have been developed in parallel and subsequent to Bitcoin. As a result, multitude of crypto islands and archipelagos have emerged, each with considerable resources invested in both technological development and financial assets. Substantial efforts have been made to strive for interoperability between them. The flow of transactions between systems, however, could be greater, if the ocean that surrounds them is utilized to harness their combined power, irrespectively and agnostically.

Our solution - HYBRIX SAYS HY

The solution we propose is the HY token. HY strives to be the token to bind them all, championing interoperability by granting the freedom to transact on and with any DLT. HY operates on a second-level token protocol that can transact units of account on a single ledger, or between a vast number of DLTs. Its transactions are stored on the DLT involved. This gives its users the advantage of using the ledger system that best suits their needs.

The HY token will be used as a store of value and as a currency for token sales. There will be a limited supply of 21 million tokens with a deflationary emission curve (as homage to Bitcoin). Project

Currently, hybrix has developed a multi-ledger platform and API that connects 30+ blockchains and offers developers an open-source solution to build multi-blockchain applications that can sign transactions client-side.
The hybrix token is a cross-ledger colored coin: technically borderless, not restricted to any single distributed ledger. Every distributed ledger and blockchain has its own strengths.
The hybrix token gives access to all these benefits as it exists on top of all distributed ledger systems.
The open hybrix protocol enables free transport of value between all distributed ledgers. A welcoming addition next to the possibilities of atomic swaps and DEXes.

We are a group of young professionals based in the centre of The Netherlands at the core of the blockchain community in Utrecht, we have been active in the blockchain scene from the start and are strong supporters of its initial values.
We are working together to improve the quality and equality of the Internet and, therefore, the real world. Each member of the team has individual expertises, ranging from cryptography to marketing and from trading to social entrepreneurship. Together we create a mix, a cocktail, that can conquer the challenges of the world's inequality on the Internet.

Token

The current HY token is an ERC20 token. The token is a placeholder for the future token, which will be an interoperable token that operates on a second level token protocol. This means that HY will not bound to any blockchains and can transfer value frictionless across existing blockchains and ledgers.

Use cases

The main use cases of the HY token are:

● Registration and renewal fees for new cross-ledger tokens issued on top of the hybrix protocol 


● Settlement of fees for network validators for hybrix 


● Settlement of fees for network validations for other tokens issued on top of the hybrix protocol
