Shortsighted people once laughed at the idea of a $1,000 Bitcoin. Today they laugh at the idea of a 1,000MB block.

I spent some time in the Core Slack channel today.
They see Bitcoin totally differently than I do.
They don't care how many people are using it as money.
They don't care to even try to make 0-conf as safe as possible.
They don't seem to care if Bitcoin is able to scale in time for the world to use it.
They would want to destroy Bitcoin's present use as money in the hope that technologies that don't even exist yet will make it better in the future.
I suppose it is best if we go our separate ways.
