Looking at https://bitcoinwisdom.com/markets/bitstamp/btcusd right now and there seems to be heaps of trades going on for exactly 49.999btc each time, i cant post a screenshot tonight but will try update this post tomorrow with history from bitcoinwisdom.
Anyone know why this would be?

maybe some Institutions who dont want to push the price up that much......on the other hand: they could use OTC market.

49.999 is a very calculated amount, so if I had to guess maybe a trader or traders had orders in place to sell at $250. Seems we finally hit $250 for the first time in several weeks (months?) so it may have triggered some sells.

I was watching these mostly sell order of 49.999btc go through one after the other, never seen anything like it before.
