So I’ve transferred some bch to the bitcoin address and now I can’t see them anywhere how or whom do I contact to get them back...someone told me that they will get back after 1 month...it’s well stressful

Hi Cornelius (Merry Christmas!),

Your BCH is at the address it was sent to.

The public keys and private keys are the same on each chain (BCH and BTC).

If the receiving party (the person or company you sent to) owns, or controls, the private key they can access the BCH by importing, or sweeping, the address' private key into a wallet which supports BCH.

The Bitcoin.com wallet app (supports both BCH and BTC) is a fully featured non-custodial wallet which gives users complete and sole control over their funds. The person you sent to may download the wallet application (Android and iOS) at https://wallet.bitcoin.com/

I'd rather keep this in public here on the Forum.

Please also keep in mind that only the receiver (the person or company you sent to) can access the BCH.

If they used the Bitcoin.com wallet app to receive the transaction that you sent they are welcome to contact the Bitcoin.com support team at wallet@bitcoin.com

If not, do you which wallet application they are using? If so, please post below and I'll let you know if I'm familiar with it and what can be done (on the receiver's end).

Please beware of anyone contacting you in private/direct message about this (and never give out private information such as passwords, private keys, mnemonic seed).
