Hi, the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is at the address that you sent it to.I sent my BCH to someone else’s btc wallet and I don’t know what to do. This is my first time buying bitcoin. Why does BCH even exist? The transaction has gone through, but they haven’t confirmed. I don’t know what to. I’ve got money flowing through the cyberspace, and I want it back.
You're welcome.Ok thanks. They’re saying they can’t.
They could contact their wallet provider for support. How do they do this? I have no idea?
Please understand that Bitcoin itself isn't a company, just like “gold” isn't a company - this means that there isn't any official website that speaks for Bitcoin, just like there isn't an official website representing gold. Please beware of anyone offering your to help your over the phone (or in private message). Can someone please answer me? Is there a phone number?
I get that. But these are companies. Companies usually have numbers to contact them. Gold traders have numbers. You're welcome.Ok thanks. They’re saying they can’t.

They could, but they won’t. How can you, when these companies have no number?
Do you know what wallet application that they're using?
Blockchain
The address sent to, did it start with a 3?
No. A 12.

Thank you for providing that information. It was very helpful.I get that. But these are companies. Companies usually have numbers to contact them. Gold traders have numbers.
You mentioned blockchain, are you referring to a Blockchain.com wallet? If so, the person you sent to should be able to recover the BCH that you sent to them.Blockchain
You mentioned that the address starts with a 1 (as opposed to a 3). That should make recovery a lot simpler.1
If the company is Blockchain.com please try their website as they should have a support email listed their or an online contact form. They could, but they won’t. How can you, when these companies have no number?
If you'd like you can look up the transaction or the address itself on a block explorer. For example:I don’t know anymore. They’ve just stopped contacting me. They probably have taken the money and run. This is the last time I use bitcoin or bitcoin cash or any cryptocurrency.
I think I can post recovery instructions below (in regard to the Blockchain.com wallet).I don’t know anymore. They’ve just stopped contacting me. They probably have taken the money and run. This is the last time I use bitcoin or bitcoin cash or any cryptocurrency.
Hopefully he's just not sure how to go about recovery and needs a little help.I can see the transaction. It shows the money going out. But I can’t get it back. I shouldn’t have done it. I overspent yesterday, and I need it back. This guy just won’t bloody contact me!
Nope. He’s gotten hostile and won’t accept getting any help. I wished I could do this myself.Hopefully he's just not sure how to go about recovery and needs a little help.I can see the transaction. I'll be back soon.
Sorry to hear that.Nope. He’s gotten hostile and won’t accept getting any help. Now that I look closer recovery is not even necessary because the BTC and BCH wallets at Blockchain.com generate the same addresses. They won’t do it. They said it’s too small amount and that they want me to stop contacting them. Can I do it myself?
With exception of maybe creating new wallets within the Blockchain.com wallet the BCH and BTC wallets in Blockchain.com wallet use the same backup phrase (and generate the same addresses). So what you’re saying is that I could be refunded?
Bitcoin.com doesn't sell bitcoins. There are partnerships with Moonpay, Simplex and CEX which sell bitcoins at buy.bitcoin.com and purchase.bitcoin.comAlso, I looked at my bank statement and bitcoin.com took out another $17 for no reason at all. What’s that for?
They won’t talk to me, and if they do, they abuse me. I really didn’t have this money to throw away. With exception of maybe creating new wallets within the Blockchain.com wallet the BCH and BTC wallets in Blockchain.com wallet use the same backup phrase (and generate the same addresses). So what you’re saying is that I could be refunded?
If you sent BCH to someone's Blockchain.com BTC wallet the BCH should be automatically available in their Blockchain.com BCH wallet.
In regard to getting the BCH back you'd have to ask the person you sent it to send it back to you.
