The Bitminter pool usually takes several days to find a block. You get paid when a block is found (actually about a day later). The last block was found on the 19th and it took 3 days.

I don't know what your expectations are, but with a very high-end graphics card with a hash rate around 1 GH/s, you are going to earn about 0.000001 BTC per day.

Contacting their customer support won't help him earn 1btc with the hash power he has, as mjglqw said better off with faucets, although that would take years as well.
