Ledger nano-s and the trezor both support it--those are the two most reputable hardware wallets on the market.

Didn't trezor allow splitting Bitcoin Gold? Also, I prefer Trezor to Ledger. Trezor is open source, Ledger is not.

The best one is the created by yourself. I'm joking, but a bit of truth is these words.
I heard Ledger supports all kinds of coins including BTCG. Maybe I'm wrong ...

I personally have one Bitcoin I bough back in 2013. It turned out to be my the most successful investment ever. I think that Bitcoin is a very powerful coin which will be popular for long and this will be the main currency instead of the currency we have at the moment. To my mind, it is better than any other coin. And best way to store it is on a hardware wallet rather than just a software. This info can be helpful https://cryptolinks.com/cryptocurrency-wallet

Try Trezor. It is easy to set up and user friendly. There are no usernames or passwords necessary because the device acts as your credentials. It also utilizes 2-factor authentication and allows you to add a passphrase for extra security.
