Hello to all! And a good day! I am building my own house and have already chosen the material for the foundation. Can anyone give a hint? I'm going to use loam, how to calculate the amount of material? Formula?

Building a house isn't an easy process and at least requires knowledge of the basics of construction. Do everything neatly. If you have a moisture problem, one of the best materials for the foundation is loam. When I had a similar problem, I calculated the area and even the price here https://concalc.org/loam-calculator/

basic formula such S>yn*F(yc*R0)
γc - coefficient of working conditions
γn = 1,2 - reliability coefficient
F - load on the base (weight of the house + weight of the foundation + various additional loads)
R0 - calculated soil resistance under the foundation
S - base foundation area (cm2)

I worked in construction a bit and I do not really see how it's happening with that matter anyway. Can you please suggest to me something like that or no ? Where else we could get going with that ? This formula is absolutely out of touch for average person why use it at all. Are you with me here or not ?
