Is it possible to find my old bitcoin details?

Sat Apr 13, 2019 6:30 am

Hello,

I have a faint memory of purchasing bitcoins years ago. I can recall looking at wallet choices but I don't remember what I selected.
I don't even recall exactly how long ago this was, so I'm not sure what computer I was using or even what email/username details I may have used.

Is there any way of searching using my personal details to find if I have any bitcoin currency to my name? Is there anyone I could contact that may be able to search more proficiently than I could? And if not, what methods might I be able to use to manually search?

Thank you very much for your time and any assistance.

If you still have access to the unknown computer system and emails you might have used, there's a faint possibility you might find something. You would search on exchange names or details of trading, notifications of incoming Bitcoins, things like that.

Prepare say goodbye forever to your Bitcoins. - Why do you upset a person so soon? Perhaps he will succeed in his difficult task, like Hercules in the feat of the Augean stables

If you had a non-custodial bitcoin wallet and don't have a backup file or backup phrase (seed) for that wallet, you have no chance at recovery.
But if you just had bitcoins stored on an exchange, and haven't moved them since purchase, as long as you know what exchange it was, and this exchange is still in business, you might be able to recover.
