I would build it on wordpress, and buy a theme on theme forest for the eCommerce wordpress plugin.

Its really not that hard to do.. the worst part is to find reputable vendors, and buy stock or having them to dropship if they offer this, and you are interested.

Then is the business part: Economy, taxes, registration, business plan, etc..
