Transactions getting pricey again

With a recommended fee of 11 cents bitcoin seems basically useless for any transaction under ~10 dollars. It is not rational to buy a dollar menu hamburger and pay 11% fees. Or a 5 dollar steam game and pay 2% extra.

People have been shouting from the rooftops the near infinite number of reasons and quantifiable arguments why core devs are at best code maintainers and cannot handle strategic and high-level network development.

I switched most of my investment to Eth. Once you allow yourself the freedom to switch mindsets, it's kinda cool.

"The 15-sec blocks are very pleasant, the dev community is way more flexible and forward-looking (and pragmatic as evidenced by the HF), the reddits are more upbeat and nobody is worried about censorship. That's my acid test, if someone doesn't care at all about what topic you bring up, they probably are on the winning track. They don't have that fear." - sandball
