Could a new coin take over Bitcoin?

I know that many different coins have many different benefits, which makes it a good conversation starter about which new coin might take over BTC. But the way i see it, no one really cares about that. BTC is so valuable because it is worth a lot and people trust in it and that took years to build. No coin can replicate that. Would you agree?
