Participant recruitment for Bitcoin Thesis

Fri Jul 15, 2016 11:24 am

Hello!

I am a third year Business student at Brunel University presently writing my final year thesis entitled "An investigation into the mode of adoption of cryptocurrencies: Exploring the case of Bitcoin as an alternative to traditional payment systems". For the research methodology of this thesis 15-20 semi-structured interviews will be necessary to take place with experts knowledgeable of Bitcoin. This will provide a comprehensive foundation of findings in order to analyse the adoption of Bitcoin and cross-reference this with academic literature.

I am placing this message on this forum to find participants who would be interested in helping me by providing primary data for my university thesis. This would simply entail a 15-30 minute semi-structured interview comprising of 11 questions and an evaluation of the conceptual framework I have constructed. The interview can best be facilitated via video chat (Skype preferably). The Participant Information Form will provide you with any necessary further information, however any further questions you do have I will gratefully answer.

At present I have spoken with 2 consultants, a founder of a leading exchange app, someone from marketing at an app also, as well as 1 investor. It is important that I look at Bitcoin from different fields.

I would thoroughly appreciate any involvement with this study and feel that your contribution would be of great value.

Kind Regards,
Lew Parker
