MIT’s Riffle Claims to Be More Anonymous Than Tor

Wed Jul 13, 2016 4:35 pm

A new anonymity network called Riffle, which has similar attributes to Tor, has been created by researchers from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

MIT News reports a recent discovery of vulnerabilities within the Tor network, which has pushed computer scientists to produce a superior method of anonymous web browsing. Now, the Riffle network may be the answer to the call for better online privacy.

Find more information about Riffle below in the link along with the MIT white paper. Cheers. ~ Jamie Redman BTC BTC BTC

I've read arguments in the past 24 hours claiming that MIT's Riffle will be less secure due to a variety of reasons including its small size and controlled environment. That it is better for private networks instead of the masses.

My other problems are that this is the same University that created ChainAnchor and they have a long history of working with governments.

We have a war on Bitcoin, a war on Tor, any new software right now is way too risky. I try to update protocol software as least as I can.

This is my personal opinion!

It's interesting that MIT initiated such a project. Not sure of any agendas but let's see how it will develop.

So this is not secure because they work with goverment? Do you afraid our data will take by goverment?

Well, it'll be sad if the overall nice project has some not so pleasant back doors in its core.
